Aphrodite Bowling Club hosts historic event

Tension mounted, silence dominated, and concentration was totally focused on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June when the National Level-Green Bowling Championships Finals were held. This, the first championship since Bowls Cyprus’s inception on 1st September 2006, was hosted by Aphrodite Bowling Club, in Erimi, and Anna Theodorou. The participating clubs were: The Aliathon Bowling Club, Louis Phaethon Bowling Club, Coral Bay Bowling Club and Aphrodite Bowling Club itself.

New affiliation to EBU

Aphrodite Bowls Club is now a member of Bowls Cyprus Association and is affiliated to EBU (European Bowls Union) and also World Bowls. The first President of Bowls Cyprus is Mr.Tony Marshall who is a member of Aphrodite Bowls Club.



European Bowls 2007

European Bowls 2007 will be held at the Athena Beach Hotel in Paphos in February and a member from Aphrodite Bowls Club, Mr Loukas Paraskeva will be bowling in this tournament.
